I wanted to mix things up a little bit on the blog and do something completely different from our typical computer related posts. I am reviewing the Tower 200 Full Body Exercise Gym by Body By Jake.

The Tower 200 Full Body Exercise Gym:

The Tower 200 by Body By Jake is a door mounted resistance band training Gym which you can install on nearly any interior door frame. It offers 200lbs of resistance (100lbs/side) and claims to offer a combination of 200 different exercises. You can perform nearly any exercise on this machine including arms, back, chest, shoulders, legs and abs. It is designed to help you build muscle with a quick 11 minute full body exercise per day, per the included DVD. There is also a longer work out as well as isolation workouts on the DVD.

Installation of the Tower 200 Full Body Exercise Gym:

Installation couldn’t be easier on this device. You don’t even need tools! It comes fully assembled. All yu have to do is unpack it and hook the bottom of the machine under the door. After that, with some strength you can put the top portion of the gym over your door (it has resistance so may require two people if you are small). It is very easily installed. I had mine up and running within 5 minutes. Make sure to mount this on the side of the door that does not pull open. If you install it on the other side, you may want to add a deadbolt or a hasp to make sure the door doesn’t pop open while you are working out.

Construction of the Tower 200 Full Body Exercise Gym:

This Gym is very sturdy and solid and almost entirely made of metal. The Tower 200 is very well put together and I am extremely satisfied with its construction. I feel that I can exert maximum force with no worries of it breaking. It is also very quiet and does not squeak like some of other devices I have used.

Effectiveness of the Tower 200 Full Body Exercise Gym:

I have used this machine for the past two weeks and am highly satisfied with it. My muscle memory is relatively good, so I can already tell a difference in muscle strength and size; however, I will need to use it for about 2 months to give it a full evaluation. I have the MMA Edition Bodylastics Bands which I highly recommend and are also very effective resistance bands. I like the Tower 200 better though, because it is mounted to the wall and setup is definitely faster. The great part is that you can use your existing Bodylastics bands with the Tower 200 by sliding the door attachment through the bottom or top. The Tower 200 should be just as effective if not more so than the Bodylastics bands.

Price of the Tower 200 Full Body Exercise Gym:

I purchased this for under $100 and would call it an amazing deal. It pays for itself in about 2 months of Gym memberships + gas & time. Amazon has the Tower 200 Full Body Exercise Gym on sale right now and offers free shipping. This will give you an excellent full body workout, saves you time and takes up very little space. The value is definitely there.

Overview of Tower 200 Full Body Exercise Gym:

I highly recommend the Tower 200 Full Body Exercise Gym for beginner and intermediate individuals who would like something quick and easy to keep them in shape at home. It is excellent for small business owners like myself which are often cooped up at home. I easily can work out 1-2 times a day on this without interrupting my daily routine.  The Tower 200 Full Body Exercise Gym will save you time and money while keeping you fit. It is one of the most useful pieces of home equipment I have alongside of my MMA Edition Bodylastics Bands. Pick one up from Amazon or your local Target.
